FSHP Group Membership Discount

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is the difference between FSHP Group Membership and FSHP Group Discount?
A. FSHP Group Membership is a discount for sponsoring corporations (hospitals, health-systems, institutions) signing up 100% of eligible employees for membership. Payment for Group Membership must be in one lump sum from the sponsoring corporation.
FSHP Group Discount is also a discount for sponsoring corporations, but not all employees must sign up for membership. A minimum number of eligible employees must be presented to FSHP staff prior to receiving a Group Discount.

Q. Who is considered an eligible employee?
A. Eligible employees include pharmacists and pharmaceutical associates, whose membership categories would be classified as Active and Associate.

Q. How do employees receive the discount?
A. After reviewing the list of employees submitted requesting a Group Discount, FSHP Staff will issue promotional codes for each Group Discount participant, unique to its sponsoring corporation. Each employee is then responsible for renewing and/or joining online and entering the promotional code where the discount is automatically deducted.

Q. What is the discounted amount?
A. The discount is 10% for at least 25 eligible employees.

Q. How long is the discount for?
A. Each group must submit for the discount annually.

Q. What if some of the employees recently joined or renewed?
A. FSHP Staff can assist with prorating the discounted rate for those employees who may have recently paid for membership to ensure that all employees fall on the same renewal cycle.

Q. Is the Group Discount only for hospitals, etc. or can a group of Regional Society members submit
to receive this discount?

A. Regional Societies are not eligible for Group Discounts.
