FRC: Purpose & Goals

The Florida Residency Conference (FRC) provides an opportunity for pharmacy residents to formally present their original research. The conference offers a unique and welcoming environment for participants to exchange information and ideas with fellow residents and preceptors throughout Florida. Residents learn how to formally present original work to colleagues, while enjoying fellowship, meeting new friends, and discussing important issues confronting pharmacy practice.

The intraprofessional relationships developed during FRC provide a lifetime of support and colleagueship. Preceptors and pharmacists from all sectors of practice return every year to meet and introduce new residents to pharmacy leaders. Whether presenting, evaluating, moderating, or taking part in social events, each attendee contributes to the conference proceedings. Every participant leaves the conference armed with ideas and practices that emphasize cutting-edge developments within the dynamic field of pharmacy practice.

Continuing Education Credits AvailableNumber of credit hours will be released prior to the conference based on the final number of presentations.

The Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmaceutical education.
