Attention Directors of Pharmacy!
The Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FSHP) along with McKesson Health Systems Pharmacy Executive Alliance invite you to “Strategic Approach For Improving The Medication-Use Process in Health Systems: The High Performance Pharmacy Practice Framework.” This unique one-day seminar will be held immediately prior to the FSHP Annual Meeting on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando Florida.
This seminar is ideal for the pharmacy department administrator who is faced with increasing responsibilities and decreasing resources. The High Performance Pharmacy (HPP) seminar covers topics such as medication preparation and delivery, patient care services, medication safety, medication-use policy, financial performance, human resources and education.
Using the HPP “8 Steps to Performance”, a copyrighted implementation methodology, the skilled facilitators will characterize pharmacy performance elements on the basis of feasibility, financial return and effect on quality and safety. Attendees will be guided to develop an initial implementation plan for a specific HPP performance element chosen by the participant.
The Seminar will be conducted by Chris Borr (Vice President of McKesson Health Systems Marketing and an original author of the High Performance Pharmacy project), and up to two members of the Health Systems Pharmacy Executive Alliance or one member of the Executive Alliance and an additional original study author of the High Performance Pharmacy project. For more information visit www.HighPerformancePharmacy.com
The seminar will be conducted on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from 9AM – 4:45 PM. The registration fee of $125 covers the seminar, all meeting materials and a luncheon. Attendance is limited to the first fifty (50) registrants.
FSHP has reserved a block of rooms at a special rate of $130/night (single/double) for this event. For reservations call 1-866-996-6338 and reference FSHP or click here for online reservations.
